This classic cycle exploration of Vietnam, starts in Hanoi Capital and ends in the Hochiminh city in the south of Vietnam . Along the way we pause to visit the main sites in Halong Bay , HoaBinh, Hoi An, Hue, and finally Hochiminh city. What makes this tour special is our route hardly touches the frenetic Highway One, as we ride along quiet or little used roads to discover the real Vietnam.
Taking time out of the saddle we have excursions by boat in Halong, Hue and on Mekong river as well as interesting rides to Cu Chi Tunnels. After cycling through the incredible limestone karst scenery of HoaBinh and Halong bay. We spend a night aboard the Reunification Express Train to Hue then passing the HaiVan pass to Hoian Old commercial town from 17century. On reaching Hochiminh city, we have time to ride to Mekong delta and overnight in Vietnamese homes and try to be the vietnamese one time.ITINERARY
Day 01 : ARRIVAL IN HANOI( D )
Meeting with our representative and transfer to your hotel in city centre.
Rest of day is at leisure. Dinnet at the restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.Day 02 : HANOI CITY TOUR 30km ( B,L,D )
AM : breakfast at hotel. Hanoi city tour by bike: the main boulevards of Hanoi, Temple of Literature, DongXuan market, the Old Quarter and HoanKiem Lake. Visit to HoChiMinh Mausoleum and the One pillar pagoda. Continue biking around West lake to the Ethnology museum. Dinnet at the restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 03 : HANOI & PAGODA AROUND - KIMBOI - HOABINH 60km ( B,L,D )
Full day visit by bicycle to the ancient Thay and TayPhuong pagoda (built in 8th century) in the northern countryside. Cycling about 30km of the route. Continue to XuanMai town. Biking on Hochiminh road to KimBoi. Transfer to V Resort in HoaBinh for relax. V-Resort – Natural Farmland and Hot Spring is located in an unspoiled valley in Kim Boi, Hoa Binh.
Day 04: KIMBOI - HANOI CAPITAL 40 km [B,L]
Am : Relax at resort. Free time to discover Fruit and Vegetable Farmland spreading over thousands of hectares in the heart of Hoa Binh breathtaking Green Mountains and Hot Spring
Pm : After lunch. Biking down hill to ChiNe town and transfer by bus to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi. Diner is your choice. Overnihght at hotel.Day 05 : HANOI - HALONG - HANOI ( B, L, D )
Am : 8.00 Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi. Depart to Halong Bay. 11h30 arrive Halong. Lunch . Boat trip (about 4hours), visit THIEN CUNG & DAU GO caves. Enjoy the extraordinary landscapes of Halong Bay with nearly 3000 small islands and fantastic types of limestone. 15h00 back to Hanoi. 19h30 Arrive Hanoi. Diner at the restaurant and overnight at hotel
Day 06: HANOI - HUE ( B,L, D ) NIGHT TRAIN TO HUEAm : free time to do cycling in the Hanoi city without tour guide. Free time for lunch.
Pm : Transfer you and bikes to Hanoi railway station for departure to Hue. Overnight on train.
Day 07 : VISIT HUE BY BIKE ( B,L,D )Arrival in Hue in the morning. Meeting and transfer to your hotel in city centre. Bike to Thien Mu Pagoda along the Perfume river. Hue sightseeing by bike includes the Imperial Citadel, Bike ride to visit the Mausoleums of TuDuc and KhaiDinh. (cycling 30km). Free time DongBa market and TruongTien bridge .Overnight in Hue.
Day 08: HUE - HOI AN( B,L,D )
Am : breakfast at the hotel. Morning bicycle ride to HoiAn ancient town (130 km) via HaiVan pass( 500m high). This ride has some sharp and short hills. Cycling about 80km of the route on the way to Lang co beach. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 09 : VISIT HOIAN TOWN AND BEACH BY BIKES 20km ( B,L,D )
Walking tour of the old streets of HoiAn where the mix of Japanese and Chinese architecture reflects its past history as an important trading port. Afternoon cycling to CuaDai beach (5km). Overnight in HoiAn.
Day 10 : HOI AN - DA NANG - HOCHIMINH ( B,L,D ) Flight
Breakfast at the hotel.Am : Transfer to airport for flight to HoChiMinh city. Arrival in HoChiMinh city and check-in at hotel. City tour by bus to main boulevards of Old Saigon, Notre Dame Cathedral, the splendid Post Office, the bustling BenThanh market, ChoLon China town and ThienHau pagoda.. Diner on boat cruise. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 : HO CHI MINH CITY - VINH LONG 40 km ( B,L,D ) home stay.
Am : Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to VinhLong, Crossing the ferry. Ride from Tra On to An Binh islands along the tree lined roads. Visit fruist garden and old house. Diner with the family. Overnight at home stay in AnBinh island.
Day 12 : VINHLONG - TRAVINH - HOCHIMINH CITY 60 km [B,L,D]
Am : After the breakfast. Ride back to Tieu Can to visit old Khmer temple and lotus pond. Then return to Hochiminh city by minibus. Free time to relax in Hochiminh city. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13 : SAIGON RIDE TO CUCHI ( B,L,D )
Breakfast at hotel. 8h00 starting to visit by bike to the famous CuChi tunnels about 70km from Saigon. We cycle about 30km of the route. Return to Saigon by minibus. Overnight in HoChiMinh city.
Day 14 : SAIGON DEPARTURE ( B )
Breakfast at hotel. Free at leasure till transfer to the airport for departure.
