This is a short adventure tour to North West region with the panorama of innumerable hills and mountains and colourful minorities.

Starting from Ha Noi, you will depart to Son La with a stop at the villages of Thai and Muong people in Mai Chau. Visit Son La prison and then drive to Dien Bien Phu where you see the old battlefield and learn about the historic victory over French in 1954.

Continue your tour with a road trip to Tam Duong through many hill tribes including H’mong, Dao, Kho Mu, Mang, etc. Drive to Sa Pa along beautiful terraced rice fields and waterfalls. Next day is an enjoyable journey to discover ethnic villages and local fair.

Finish the tour with a transfer back to Ha Noi

 

Day 1: HANOI - MAICHAU - SONLA

Depart your hotel at 7h00 for SonLa via the scenic mountain , stopping at Thai , Muong ethnic minorities villages in MaiChau .Overnight at CongDoan hotel SonLa

Day 2 : SONLA - DIENBIENPHU
The further we drive the more impressive the mountain scenery becomes, so we will wake up in anticipation for another great day on the road. We will visit small villages and meet more tribal people along our journey to Dien Bien Phu city. Stop for lunch in Tuan Giao then continue on to Dien Bien. Be utterly amazed by the scenery at Pha Din pass. 
Afternoon in Dien Bien Phu - the last base of the French power in Indochina. Here we will visit monuments, the museum, war relics and the preserved bunkers all telling the story of the final and victorious liberating battle of 1954. Dinner and free time to explore the night-life in this remote mountain city. Overnight in Hotel in Dien Bien Phu.

Day 3: DIENBIENPHU - THAN UYEN

This day is discover Highlight of Dien Bien Phu as Doc Lap Hill, Muong Thanh airport, and the command tunnel of General de Castries, listening how to VIETCONG fight against one of the biggest campaign of French colonist. Then depart for next beautiful places awaiting the small town Than Uyen, you have chance to see common lives of highland ethnic people. Have lunch at local restaurant. Night in Than Uyen

Day 4: THAN YUEN - SAPA  :

From Than Uyen, the road follows the Hoang Lien Son mountains and winds through tea plantations and rice terraces as it hugs the Nam Ma river. This stunning valley is dotted with Tay, Dzao and H’mong hill tribe villages. Drive up the highest mountain pass in Viet Nam at 1900 meter .Drive to SaPa with stopover at waterfalls, markets of ethnic minority people, along the way.. Sightseeing of SaPa town. Overnight at  SaPa.

Day 5 : VISIT SAPA

Full day trek to SaPa’s beauty spots and remote hamlets of H’mong & Dao ethnic minorities . Overnight in SaPa.

Day 6: SAPA - HANOI :

Return to HaNoi via the spectacular northen countryside . Arrive in HaNoi late aternoon.
