Vietnam was chosen to be the shooting location for the new film of Legendary Pictures - Kong: Skull Island. In the movie, Vietnam is the hometown of the giant apes. The places that will appear in the film are the world’s largest cave Son Doong and Phong Nha cave, the world natural heritage site Ha Long Bay and Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex - Ninh Binh.
The crew of 150 people including Jordan Vogt - Roberts director – talented director and producer, Brie Larson – winner of Oscars 2016 Best Actress, dilettante Tom Hiddleston - best known for his role as Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Samuel L. Jackson star will stay in Vietnam for a month.
Besides of visiting the sparking sites in Ha Long, Ninh Binh and Quang Binh, the crew had interesting time at Hanoi capital by trying Vietnam cuisine and buying Vietnamese costume. Sharing on the social network, the Brie Larson actress took wontons stuffed pasta picture, Samueal L. Jackson visited Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam – the Temple of Literature and impressed by the huge drum here. The others enjoyed many delicious sidewalk foods and activities in the Old Quarter.
Thanks to the effects and advertising of the film, the project of operating Hollywood studio tours is putting into practice. In the upcoming years, tourists will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes and learn behind the scene facts, view cool props and sets and possibly get a glimpse of a celebrity.
