Vietnam promotes tourism at ITB Berlin 2016

itb-berlin-2016.jpgFrom 9 – 13 March 2016, Asia Pacific Travel participated in ITB Berlin 2016 with the delegation of Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT).


ITB berlin is one of the world’s largest travel trade fair in the last 50 years. Annually, the event attracts participation of more than 185 countries, 850 leading buyers, 10.000 exhibitors and over 115.000 trade visitors. Attending at the trade show this year, the director Mr. Nguyen Giang Nam and vice director Ms. Duong Thi Huyen met and discussed with buyers, travel and media agencies presented in German with the hope of promoting the charming image of Vietnam country and attract more attention from international tourism units. They brought to the event such exciting tourism products and services, updating information on new destinations, events and festivals not only in Vietnam, but also in Indochina land.


In recent years, Vietnam Tourism has become a hot destination in Asia attracting the attention of major tourist markets, especially Western European market. In particular, many of the German media agencies wanted to cooperate with Vietnam Tourism in the field of advertising and promoting tourism of both countries. Moreover, many German travel agencies actively start seeking information and establishing partnerships with Vietnam tour operators to send more German tourists to Vietnam.


In his speech at the event, the General Secretary of World Tourism Organization - Taleb Rifai congratulated the achievements Vietnam Tourism in recent years and recommended that Vietnam should develop products and promote tourism based in the people and such sustainable development projects.


With this successful trip, Asia Pacific Travel is confident about the bright future of Vietnam tourism as Vietnam will soon welcome more visitors from German and all around the world.
