Vietnam Airlines offers promotions for travelers to Myanmar

vietnam airlinesVietnam Airlines has announced a special price of US$100 for travelers boarding its flight linking HCMC and Myanmar’s Yangon starting from November 15 when the national flag carrier opens this new air route.
Passengers who buy tickets from October 15 to December 25 for the departure time between November 11 and December 25 this year will get the incentive. This return ticket fare is exclusive of taxes.

Da Nang stimulates tourism for the first time

danang tourism stimulationThe central city of Da Nang has launched November as the first Month of Tourism Stimulation, featuring such programs as Tourist Privilege Card and Shopping Coupon.

Tourists having cards or coupons will enjoy 10-50% reduction in prices and fees of travel services, tickets, accommodation, foodstuff, garments and cosmetics.
Travel agencies have pledged to reduce prices of tours from Da Nang to Hoi An, Hue, and My Son by 15%.

Air Mekong opens two new routes

air-mekongAir Mekong will open more new routes from Hanoi and HCM City to Da Nang City in November 2010.
It also launched two new routes from Da Lat to Hanoi and HCM City.
From November, Vietnam Airlines begin planning to exploit station 2E at Charles De Gaulle International Airport, Paris, France. Passengers arriving, departing from or transiting in Paris will receive luggage, and carry out formalities at station 2E instead of the current station 2C.

Cam Ranh Airport will receive flights from Russia

san-bay-cam-ranhTwo new routes from the Russian cities of Khabarovsk and Vladivostok to Cam Ranh international airport in the central city of Nha Trang will be launched this winter.
Russian carrier Vladivostok Air met with the local authorities to discuss the ongoing preparations for the routes’ inauguration.
According to a Vladivostok Air representative, 14 flights are scheduled on these routes from mid-December through to March, with two flights every two weeks to Nha Trang.
This will be the first stage in a long-term operation, as Nha Trang with its warm weather and sunny beaches is extremely popular with Russian tourists.
