Bus

From Hanoi, catch a Cos express bus from Kim Mã Bus station in Nguyễn Thái Học Stree, tel: 845 - 2846. Getting there is much easier now that Highway 5 has been upgraded. The trip takes under 4 hours. The Sinhcafe bus cost 5 USD/1way. 9 USD/ 2 way.

Cát Bà Island

The largest island in Halong Bay. The island has numerours lakes, waterfalls and grottoes and a huge national park that is home to 20 different mammal species and many rare birds.

Yên Tử Mountan

40km north west of HaLong City , the peak rises high above the vast north eastern mountain range ; it boasts picturesque scenery and 13^th century Buddhist pagodas.
